Lash Care:

Cleaning

  • Clean your eye makeup off daily with oil-free makeup remover. 

 

  • Wash lashes daily with a lash foam cleanser and water.  Washing your lashes regularly will prevent a build-up of dead skin, dirt, and oils. This will not only improve retention but also prevent infection.

 

  • After rinsing lashes, blot them dry with a kleenex or let them air dry. Brush your lashes up gently with a disposable mascara wand. Never brush lashes when they are wet.

 

  • Brush and groom your lashes gently with a disposable mascara wand every day.

 

 

Avoid

  • Avoid oil-based products, such as creams, lotions, and serums around the eye area if possible, and never apply on your eyelid as these products could sweat or rinse down into your lashes and eye.

 

  • Avoid extreme direct heat, such as smoking or direct blow-drying. Remember do not get your lashes close to the oven or BBQ grill.

 

  • Do not perm lashes after the lash extension application.

 

  • Do not tint lashes on the same day of the lash extension application.

 

  • Do not use regular lash curlers to curl extensions as this could break off the extensions and damage your natural lash.

 

  • Lash extensions are lightweight and you may forget you have them on, please remember do not pick or rub your eyes or lashes. 

 

  • We do not recommend using waterproof mascara with lash extensions, but if you choose to wear mascara because you miss an appointment - only apply to the very tips and use water-based mascara that washes off easily.

 

  • Do not cut the extensions (you may cut your skin or natural lashes).  

 

  • Never tug, twist, pick or pull at your lashes or extensions.

 

  • Sleep on your back or side with your eyes off of the pillow, avoid smashing your lashes as you sleep if possible

 

  • Do not try to remove the lash extensions on your own, please schedule an appointment with a trained lash artist to safely remove your extensions.

 

Fills

  • To extend the life of your lashes, please schedule your lash fill every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full and to have grown out lashes removed. Lash naps are included with the services!
